There may be a penalty for early withdrawal of principal balances from CDs.  They are:

- CDs less than 3 months: All simple interest earned if balances were on deposit until maturity.
- CDs 3 months to 364 days: 3 months interest.
- CDs 1 year and greater - 6 months interest.

 

Certificates of deposit are automatically renewable.
